Cowboy Boots

Despite being less protective than the Space Boots I currently wear, I want to have them. It's just a matter of time before I get the hat, since I know what I need to do to get it. However, Google so far only links me to the Rusty Spur artifact because "cowboy" is in the description, and then the wikipedia page for actual boots, and then stores to buy them from.

So, I have no idea where to get the Cowboy Boots, and would appreciate if someone who knew where to get them could tell me about it.

Well, after using Magnet and Treasure Hunter on an Iridium Rod over and over, I can safely say that the Magnets aren't worth the cost or the bars to make for the little difference they make in chests appearing. I've also opened plenty upon plenty of chests, and apart from the occasional useful ore or artifact (all of which I have and are now just fodder for gold) I may as well be fishing up fresh farts in a jar.

I've only tried the river in town and the ocean so far, fishing all day from roughly 8:30AM to 10PM. Am I likely to find better treasure in other fishing spots? I noticed a lot of folks screenshotting their chests containing an Iridium Band are at the lake by the mine.

I haven't played long enough to see the cowboy boots yet (still in year 1). I've had lots of fishing-related treasure drops, but haven't seen the cowboy boots. I will keep my eyes open though. I really wish the game would let us wear the high-level accessories, but still have the look we want. That way, you could wear the Space Boots, which I think have the highest stats, but they could appear as Cowboy Boots so you would have the look you want.

Between 2 characters, I've played around 5 years. I've never even seen the cowboy boots. (I had to go to the wiki to look them up).

I've done a lot of fishing, digging, killing monsters. I wonder whether they are actually obtainable?

The rusy spur is an artifact -- you donate it to the museum and that's it.
