Fector's Challenge Achievement
I completed the Journey of the Prairie King minigame, beating the final boss with 6 lives left, but I died more than a couple of times. But in the end I unlocked both achievements, for beating the game and beating it without dying. Maybe this is a bug and the game thinks you didn't die because you have more than the 3 starter lives?
Does anyone know if these values are connected, or does anyone else got the achievement this way also?

It's a known bug.
Should be gone in the future.

Oh, thanks for the reply! I think it is supposed to be one of the hardest challenges in the game. Do you think they will reset the achievement for everyone who has it?

I don't think so.

I wonder if anyone has gotten the achievement through the intended process. It seems pretty impossible given how difficult it is to beat Prairie King in the first place. As of this time only 0.5% of people have the Prairie King achievement.

I'm annoyed they fixed it. I couldn't even play it while it was broken because the minigame makes the game crash all the time. Doing it deathless would be near impossible and now a load of people will have 100% in the game without doing the challenging part. Lame. The best thing they could do since they didn't release it in a working state is to remove the achievement

hmm this didn't work for me, i had 7 lives after i finished but i died a few times at the boss, idk i really don't think i can pull this off without dying, i died a good 7 times second to last stage due to no items and too many enemies on screen, wish the gold drops were higher, or get a gold bonus if not die per stage.

To be honest I find in annoying that there is an achievement as hardcore as Fector's Challenge is such a calm and casual game. The Mummy levels are way too unfair, those demons are awful. And to sugar coat all this Fector's Challenge nonsence the game crashes periodically. Well I guess those who got the achievement while it was bugged can be considered as very lucky bastards :3

Do it on a very lucky day with extra luck buff food and you get way to much coins to buy all the upgrades fast.

Or use cheat engine.

Or just ignore the achievement.

The worst fracking achievement ever! I was actually doing really well on my latest run and then just as i was going to grab a powerup near the edge of the stage a mob spawned literally on me next to the edge of the stage.

sadly i got to the end boss got him down to 1/10 due to rapid fire powerup, and got hit, RIP this achievement, i'm giving it up too much RNG on coin drops and powerups.

This might be a while late, but I just did it, and it's the greatest achievement of my life...
