clay?

so, i need clay to make a silo but i cant find any, i've already tried toiling soil, which doesnt get me any, is there a place were you can buy clay? or a more efficient way of finding clay?

I usualy get it digging up the beach with the hoe.. Apparently by the railword is good spot to (+ can use spa if energy is an issue for you atm).

Either the beach seems to give you more when you hoe it or hit the sand areas inside the mine for some and other loot associated with the mine when you find it as you are progressing in the area.

I just hoed a ton of dirt at the farm and got plenty for silo fwiw. :)

The best spot is in the mines. You can use your hoe to till up exposed dirt (like the areas where the little underground baddies attack you). You get a ton of clay, as well as cave carrots, and a decent chance at relics. Worm piles are great too, especially in the winter.

A little late to this one, but carry your hoe around with you and keep an eye out for earthworms wriggling around. Hoe there and you almost always get clay. I see a lot the day after a rain but not usually while it's raining.

You Can Get Them From The Worms, Geodes, And Tilling Dirt.

By The Way, if you find clay from tilled dirt, start tilling the soil directly up from it.

Amen to that, i found almost all the clay needed by just hoeing the ground south and north of the ones where i initially found it.
