- Sell the Winter Roots and Snow Yams for a lot of cash (7-10k each day).
And use the search bar.
I got an answer instantly by just putting up a post, its nice to have it all in one place thank you!
Ah! of course! another nice tip!
I'm talking about having a bunch of tips on one post, as in, this one.
Being dyslexic and all, its very frustrating googling and having to read through all the ''20-100 tips to get started in stardew valley!'' and going through all the threads to get exactly the one I'm looking for when my question is pretty simple, so after doing that I posted my plea for help here and got it instantly. Thanks, but I'll gladly welcome more tips.
I don't know what's going wrong with your life right now, but for your sake, I hope it gets better soon.
--Plant wild winter seeds (if available)
--Lots of fishing (both fishing rod and crab pots)
--Mining for minerals/artifacts to sell (if I've already donated that kind to museum)
--Selling the fruits or mushrooms from the Demetrius cave
--Animal products (if you have animals)
--Making lots of preserves/wines using the blackberries I saved up in the fall (I LOVE BLACKBERRY WEEK SO MUCH)
--Chopping down trees and selling the lumber (and saving some, if need be)
--Whacking any tile that has earthworms on it and selling whatever comes out
--Collecting coral from the east beach tide pools to sell
--Rummaging through any trash can I walk by (usually nothing, but sometimes a surprise!)
--Foraging for wild winter plants
--Chopping hard wood and foraging wild plants in the deep forest (if you've unlocked it)
Winter is also a good time to accumulate resources (wood, stone, etc), spend a lot of time clearing trees off of your farm, and upgrading your tools/buildings. It's also a great time to focus more intensely on building relationships with the town people.
thanks for those loads of awesome tips! Tho wine takes forever to brew... Its like duplicating a diamond.
you need to STFU, typical test tube failure trying to poison a perfectly legit question without sifting through countless search results to find what he wants.
we all know theres a search bar, but posting directly is 10000% faster as alot of actually nice people wont mind answering. if u have a problem with ur precious steam forum beeing crowded, then i suggest u never go in here.
This may be what karma means lol.
I don't want to be a literal/serious person, but karma is:
Part of the Hindu religion. Being good brings you good karma. Doing bad brings you bad karma. If you have good karma, then, when you are reincarnated, you will have a good life. Bad karma brings you the opposite.
I know this because I am a Hindu! :)
Greenhouse works if you've unlocked it. I think about the only way to get it Winter 1, year 1 is to go with fruit bats or get extremely lucky with the Caravan (or go with Joja). I've had 5 games, and never been lucky enough with the Caravan to finish the Greenhouse bundle prior to Winter 1. Only times I've had it early was a Joja game or Fruit Bats.
Also, if you're a botanist (or not, but hey, it's more money) use the mushroom cave/mines trick. There will be one level in the cave that contains red/purple mushrooms. You want this level to end in 5/6 or 1. It increases in level one per day, but if it ends in 6 or 1, you can take the elevator, quick stairs, then forage away. Rinse, repeat. On a good day, you can walk away with 50+ of each mushroom. With Botanist, the purples will sell for 500 each, and the reds 150. For the sanity of your inventory, take Botanist.
