Possible to move the character via mouse (Diablo-style)?
Can you move your character only via WASD resp. controller, or is it also possible to move it via mouse? I'm looking for a "hold left mouse-button" style of control like the Diablo-series has. Hate it when games force both hands on the keyboard.
Thanks!

No mouse movement.

Oh no! Thanks for the quick answer though. It's too bad that a PC game doesn't use comfortable PC-controls.

the game wouldnt play well with mouse movement you would use your tool too much offent in the emptiness and lose energy for nothing.

moving with wasd is perfect and very comfortable.
its give a retro feeling.
and also allow controler support.

try to play diablo 3 on PC with a controler.....

No mouse movement, game wouldn't work well with it either. There's a major difference between the two genres.

You might be right. I hate not having a hand free while playing though. Feels restrictive.

Yo, never thought about the right mouse button? It would work super well, since its not bound to any option on free areas. So you could move around with the right mouse, interact with stuff when the cursor changes... I would love this :)

I could see mouse movement working in this game with shift-clicking for using tools. (true diablo-style)
I'm already shift-clicking, when using tools, to bring up the red-quare indicator of where i'm using my tool.

It would make a decent alternative to the oldschool (i dare to say "outdated") controls of "you are using your tool/weapon in the direction you're looking, not pointing", which many, including myself, find clunky in this game.

Tho, i'd be fine with simply adding an option, that makes you look to the direction, you're pointing your mouse at.

Have played the game for 18 hours now. I wish I had mouse-control. I'm with (kgm^2)/(s^2) [Jesus, what a user name!] and Jellypuff on that one.
Optional mouse-control plus fast travel options (move to any location via map for a calculated distance time cost) and this game would play super smooth.

I'm so used to WADS movement from MMOs and FPSes that it never even occurred to me folks might want different controls. Hunh. I've learned a new thing.

Imagine smoking a cigarette and drinking beer while playing. That completely kills WASD-control. Glad I don't smoke anymore. :D
