Dinosaur egg

I fished one of these things out of the river and I wondered "can I put this in my incubator?" As it turns out, I can. I am currently incubating a dinosaur egg.

Chickes are relatively close to dinosaurs.

Ok, took a lot longer than a regular egg, but it hatched. I now have a little stegasaurus looking thing living in my coop.

As long as it doesn't try to mate with the other animals and/or you, it should be fine.

Question, I got my first Dino Egg and I put it in museum, can I get it again later? From fishing maybe, because I got my first one from fishing..

It's an artifact, so I don't see why not. I've only found one, personally, but it would be weird if it behaved differently from other artifacts.

The better idea is to incubate that egg, and wait for your new dino to lay an egg so you can put that one in the museum.

Question: which river you went fishing to get the egg? I am in my 3rd year but still havn't see any DINOSAUR EGG, now I am fishing all the day either near Willy's or Leah's house but still cant get egg from chest.

If you see worm things at the mountain (by Robins house), hoe that ground and maybe a dino egg. Aside from that fishing in the ocean or a river is the way I've always found one. (Typically fishing in town, right below Jodi's house).
