Do children grow in to full characters you can interact with?

Just curious. I just got to the "end" of the game and my first child is crawling around. Is that about as far as it goes?

What would be cool is if the kids grow up and go off to college and only visit on birthdays or holidays.

Theres a lot of problems involving aging though, like the eternally young Jas and Vincent.

we don't know yet! most people have only completed a few years and I'm sure that villagers continue to age and grow in the later years! :)

I doubt this. After all, even the dialog stays the same through the festivals year after year.

we can't say for sure yet as only a few years have passed for the majority of players, maybe even less!

except we have data miners and modders that can see al the assets in the game.

it may be hidden or patched in once enough players have gotten far enough into the game (after all, there's no need to have content for year 5+ yet) so we won't know for sure until later! :)

i'm sorry but no there is a mod that auto sleeps for a certain time and even in a century the villagers won't age
