Having trouble putting down objects...
I'm trying to put down a fence but just about everywhere I put it, it won't go there. If I use the pointer, it's always red and very rarely I'll find a green square where I can place it. Is this a bug or something?

you have to be close to the spot where you want to place its also it has to be a clear spot with nothing there.

Can only place on tiles next to you, but also can't place them if you are inside the tile you are trying to place it on.

Are you trying to place it on soil?

Yeah, I realize that I just wasn't close enough now. I was doing it without the pointer at first and it just seemed impossible. :/
