For the lava eel, it doesn't seem to matter much, I still get tons of trash on lucky days.
So which is better for these fish.. Lucky lunch or dish of the sea? (+3 luck vs +3 fishing)..
If I'm not mistaken you can have both at the same time?
I'm going to go on a limb here and say that, once you get your Fishing to rank 10, modifying your Luck matters more. Try to prioritize Luck in catching hard-to-catch fish, especially if your Fishing is already at rank 10.
I'd agree, as I find the +3 fishing when you're level 10 to barely do anything.
Can someone test this? (e.g. Try catching the Legend without the +3 Fishing buff, maybe use Luck instead?) I'm on my second playthrough and have only 5 fishing skill atm.
I have never used +3 fishing/luck, already caught 4/5 of the legend fishes, just waiting for winter now for the last one.
Indeed, the trap bobber is a good one, though I have found the cork bobber to be easily as useful. THe Crimsonfish and Mutant Carp are the tamest of the legendaries... you'll have more fun when you get to the Glacierfish! :-)
