Who can I sell the Slingshot to?

I'm trying to clear up my inventory, but I haven't found anyone who wants to buy the slingshot. Not even the guy over at the Adventurer's Guild.

I can't even throw the damn thing away, so I'm stuck with it. Any solutions?

As stated in the first post, I have tried the Adventurer's Guild but to no luck.

Probably not if the guild don't buy it.. Just throw it in a chest.. Considering there is only one slingshot in the entire game (As far as I know + the tier 2 one) its probably intended so you can't lose it on accident.. even if it is useless..

I just put mine in a chest along with the useless early tier fishing rods that can't be sold.

It's because you can't aquire the Slingshot a second time, so it prevents accidental trashing.
The Slingshot is declared as a Tool, not a Weapon.

I put my slingshot and previous fishing poles in a chest then blew it up with a cherry bomb. Sucks to waste a chest but it was annoying me having them around.

You can sell the other weapons at the guild. Not for a lot of money though, but it's something. The slingshot though, you are stuck with unfortunately. I have my 2 slingshots in a chest along with some other equipment I can't get rid of.

Haha, Just wanted to stay organized xD I have no use for the old versions of these items once I got the upgraded ones.
