Concerning wheat
Why is it that gold star wheat produces the same kind of beer as no star or silver star?

Because most of the time star ratings do nothing for crafting.

Sell them and use the non-star variants for crafting.

I was pondering same. Maybe higher quality increases chance of a higher quality beer? It would take a fair level of setting up to test wihout developer or tester feedback.

This is just my theory (no testing done) but since beer is the quickest to make, perhaps it doesn't HAVE a star value to it so the quality of the input doesn't matter like it does with wine/jelly/mayonaise/etc.

Or maybe he just forgot to put a start value to/a glitch happened to beer specifically.

Stars just increase monetary value, is all. The "collection" list doesn't reveal this since it only lists the base-price of whatever you've sold, but they do sell for more. You can check it during the actual morning-check of selling things from your bin.

And I think they're relevant to the Fall festival thing, as well as a Community Center bundle.

Gold star wheat sells for less than beer. It is that way for fast money/more money.
