Fall fair spinning game rigged?

So i got to the fall fair, and won tokens etc. I went to the spinning thing, bet on orange, lost my tokens. Ok thats fair. I repeated this 7 times. Every time it was in the exact same place, the second wedge, of green. After losing 1000 tokens i decided to try green. after all, green eight times in a row means its likely to be green again. Nope, smack bang in the middle of orange, of course. So tell me, do I just have ♥♥♥♥ luck or is it actually rigged?

For 50/50 chance I sure got killed on it. Lost 9/10 games 6 in a row were green I switch to green, 3 in a row orange...

However, the "unfairness" is not quite what the OP suffered. That was just crap luck. The evidence so far is that the wheel overwhelmingly favors the Green half. I played the wheel probably 20-30 times in my own game, and it landed on Orange perhaps six of those times. So somewhere between about 20-30% of the time, it came up Orange. Other people have done similar tests, with similar results.

What I ended up doing is I would bet about 1/4 of my funds on Green. If it came up Green, repeat. If it came up Orange, bet the original amount on Green again (and keep doing so... I only had consecutive Orange results once or twice). Repeat ad infinitum until you can purchase everything in the souvenir stall.

I tried going green everytime and it helped me get the stardrop within 10-20 tries. Thanks!

Heres how to do it:

Bet 10 on green. If lose double up. For some reason it the spin doesnt go futher than 3 consecutive orange. I swear thats how i got my first stardrop.

I'm PRETTY sure that ConcernedApe confirmed that it is 75% green & 25% orange. And don't you 5 year olds go like: "OH! OH! BUT YOU IDIOT IT SHOWS 50:50, YOUR A LIAR HAHA IM SO SMART AND YOUR ALL SO DUMB!" and I'm also pretty sure it shows 75:25 on the Official Wikia.

It's not rigged, just based on luck. It's 50/50. Meaning it has a chance of being green or orange. You just had some bad luck.

It's not 50/50. It's biased towards green, and it becomes even more biased if your luck for the day is good.

If you want money then just bet a low amount and if you lose, then double the amount you originally bet and repeat. Keep doing this until you win and you will always get back the amount you initially bet. So if you screwed up and you're prepared for some hardcore grimding you have an almost fool-proof method if you keep going green. I think I got from 75 tokens to about 1000 with that... if you want to look more into the maths of how much you need depending on how much profit you want, then you need to draw up a table of a(2^n - 1) where a is your wanted profit and n is how many times you will play for (basically extra money for precautions)

Yeah... I like maths way too much.
