How do i breed my cows?

I have a deluxe barn with 4 cows and i want to have more but idk how to breed them?

It just happens if you do nothing.
That way I got a new goat.
If you inspect the animal theres's a little indicator on the right to allow breeding or not.

so if i dont milk them then i can get calfs and baby goats?

I don't think it matters if you milk them.
I try it every day and still got a new goat.

I bought a goat and shortly after it grew up it gave me another goat. I wasn't expecting it and didn't want two goats. The cow never gave birth; I eventually sold it just because.

It seems to be random. My goat gave birth on my first year. My cow, which I bought before the goat, had no progeny so far.
