Apples?

Anyone know a good way to get these, besides having the fruit cave or buying a tree?
I kinda forgot to plant one in time for fall, and I have the mushroom cave.
Its gonna suck if I need to buy 3 apples off the traveling mech lol

As far as I know, those are the only ways to get apples. I've played over a full year in game and the only apples I've been able to get is off of my tree.

I feel pretty dumb, the only thing left to do now for me is apples for the community center T_T

The caravan can sell almost every item in the game, it's just randon chance, they do sell apples as I've seen oranges, apricot and pomerangs (or whatever is the name of that weird fruit I've never heard of before) for sale from her before so I'm sure apples can happen given you make sacrifices to RNGesus.

the merchant on friday and sunday may sell you apples, it's just purely RNG

I did almost the exact same thing, but planted an apple tree and didn't realize there was a rock behind it so it never grew full. Fortunately I have a fruit cave, but have only gotten one apple out of the deal. I've also checked the caravan every time she comes for two months. Doesn't have one yet.

my the playthrough where I needed the apple, I never once got an apple from the caravan till I just had to plant an apple tree.
