Which floors in the mines have a chance for Amethysts?

(Or however you spell Amethysts) I am working on wooing Abigail, and the easiest way I've found is using Amethysts. Now that I've gotten really far into the mines, I've lost track where they are most abundant/actually spawn. Any help?

I found a lot more amethyst on the lower floors than the later floors. Like 10-40ish. I think once you get to the higher floors, too many gems become available so that just lessens the chance for you to get amethyst.

Amethysts appear more frequently in the beginning — just like copper ores.

I got most of my amesthysts in the early levels, like, before the 20+

Amethysts are on levels 1+. They spawn randomly.

Slimes can drop them rarely, too. But yes, floors 1-40 are your best bet. Especially the earlier floors.

One of the tasks for the vault bundle rewards you with a crystalarium.
Get one of those and put an amethyst in it.

You will get more amethysts than Abigail can eat.

One per day, so you can give some to Emily, too, and still have some left to sell.

You can find them in 3 places
1. Somewhere in the mines
2. Floor quarry
3. The botomlees pit I gave to abigal

Here's what I found that works fairly well:
-Start at level 1 in the mines
-If you are strictly searching for amethyst and nothing else, smash open all crates and barrels, kill all green slimes (you'd be surprised just how often they drop amethyst)
-Once all slimes have been slain and all crates and barrels are smashed, go down
-Rinse and repeat

It may not be a quick way to gather amethyst, but I found that this is a very reliable option

i would recommend to farm them between 30 and 40, since containers can drop Amethysts only on 1-39 (on top of finding amethyst-stones randomly). But since 30-39 is the best place for farming copper you could do 2 things at the same time there.
