How to milk? Allowing pregnancy

I have 4 adult cows. There are lots of grass in front of barn ( no fences) but cant milk the cows. Am i missing something. How do i milk them? Also i have the smallest barn type. It is full with 4 cows, what happens if i allow pregnancy?

About pregancy, is up to RNG. One day you will go to sleep and the game will tell you "cow/goat whasthername gave birth".

you gotta feed them hay if u dnt let the cows out to eat, also, if its past 7pm or before 7am (i think) they dont give milk yet, I tried really early and no milk but they do give it later on, and after they are trying to sleep.

Then I assume the event won't happen. You would probably need to upgrade the barn first, or perhaps build another one.

My cow never got pregnant so far. But one of my goats did. None of my ducks dropped feathers and my rabbit never generated a rabbits feet. I guess it's just RNG.

Eh so breeding is useless, at this point its better to buy new livestock from marnie.
