the purpose of wheat

i know i can buy wheat flour at the store but then why am i growing the wheat on the farm? are we going to be getting a nice windmill to process the wheat in to flour at any point? should i just sell any and all wheat i have because its just to make money?

again, if pays for itself within 1 havest of 50 weat, and really the only thing its used for is paying for itself along with making ALOT of money quickly, again some may say its a "waste" of resorces but its really not the only "waste" i can think of is wasting 4 cloth wich is SO LITTLE and easly aquired from rabbits or fishing, and can be used as one of the better uses of cloth seeing as its sell price is lower than rabbits feet (the reason why i did not list sheep becuase they are worthless, rabbits are cheaper and also drop rabbits feet)
