any easy to get items all villagers like?

im asking because the wiki is COMPLETELY wrong about this. on the social page it states gems under universal likes while almost nobody in town likes quartz or aquamarine. (i pissed off pierre, george and clint by gifting these)

P.S. - The doctor "loves" coffee. So if you aren't making any of his other loves, that works.

I'm largely interested in likes/loves that can be done without any complex farming product/cooking. I suppose with some that's not possible, but when I can... 8) At the moment I'm not looking to marry, however. Just trying to boost hearts some and keep them there, until I'm ready.

Make friends with Linus. Once you have about 2 hearts with him, he'll teach you the recipe for sashimi, which only takes a single fish to prepare. All of the human NPCs except for Emily, Evelyn, and Kent really like it. Basically you're just giving them a fish. Any fish. So it's WAY easy.

If that's about the sashimi, you don't actually need real fish. The things you can get on a crabpot that the game classifies as fish (snails, for example) will also work. So you don't even need to fish if you don't want to.

Abigail loves amethysts (likes regular quartz)
Sebastian loves those ice teardrop thingies from the ice mines, but he likes regular quartz and red quartz too if you don't have any!
the dwarf REALLY loves rubies
and that guy in the sewers loves thos weird pineapple looking radishes you forage up in the spring.
Maru ADORES gold bars! Easy to please! Her dad demetrius loves strawberries

I can't think of anyone else tbh.

I think I've already given at least one of their "loved" gifts for everyone and they always loved them (you can see that by the amount of hearts they gain).

Parsnips work on a lot of people: Pierre, Caroline, Lewis, Shane, Kent, Jodi, Gus, Pam, Robin, Demetrius, Maru, Sebastian, Willy, Elliot, Leah, Marnie, Clint, George, Emily, Evelyn

I know that Sam, Alex, Harvey, Jas, and Vincent don't like them.

Have not used them on Penny (Melon/Emerald/Diamond), Abigail (Pumpkin/Amethyst/Crocus), Wizard (Void Essence), Sandy, Dwarf, and Krobus.

yeah thats what ive been doing this week. but its a little chaotic to have 28 tabs opened or click on their portrait whenever i meet someone. thats why im looking for that 1 sweet item everyone loves if it exists at all :P

Rabbit foot seems solid but ill have to make another coop for that. i like to asign 1 animal species to each coop. i have 2 rabbits im about to sell (making a pure duck coop) but they make about 2 rabbit foots every season only.

My approach:
In every season you need 264 gifts. 176 if you follow my lead.
You need ca. 9 fruittrees of every season or 7 fruittrees and some other little things.

Everyone likes those fruits at least as a good gift.
Easy additions I know,
The wizard sun-/dark-thingies
Caroline wool
Haley coconut
Harvey coffee
Leah salad
Linus coconut or cactusfruit
Pam beer
Robin Pasta from Gus
Sam cactusfruit
Sandy flowers
Shane beer

Go buy 2 beer, 1 coffee, 1 salad, 1 pasta at the saloon.
Bring Harvey coffee.
Pick a flower.
Bring Pam her beer and let the drunk a*s lowlife bring you to the desert.
Bring Sandy the flower.
Pick 1 coconut, 1 cactusfruit and an additional of one.
Drive back.
Deliver coconuts and cactusfruits to Sam and Haley.
Deliver beer to shane if you meet him, hes at the bar in the evening.

On the next day from you farm go north and to Linus.
At 9 o clock go inside Robins house, give her pasta and fruits to Demetrius, Sebastian and Maru.
Go south, if you were fast enough Alex comes by.
Go south to George and Evelyns house.

Go to clint, take a ride to the mine -> dwarf.
Take a ride back and go to the museum for Penny, Vincent and Jas.
To the beach for Elliot and Willy.

etc. etc.

Ah, I forgot, bring a horse.

Kind of necro but whatever. The wiki is not wrong. All foraged minerals are universally liked EXCEPT quartz. And in the case of aquamarine, that's one of Pierre's disliked items.

The very small time investment that it takes to find out what people love is well worth it.

Especially since many are quite common, inexpensive and easy to get... for example, Pam loves Parsnips, George loves Leek, and Lewis and Shane love Hot Pepper.
