how to hatch an egg?

i just got a special egg but for some reason i can only craft a slime incubator, how do i hatch a this egg?

I found it in the mines, on a lucky day. I also found an Ancient Seed on that run too. That was a most profitable day, since Ancient fruits are worth a ton and produce for three seasopns straight. I haven't hatched the Dino egg, but I think I need to upgrade my coop again to even hold it.

I have one coop devoted to void chickens too.

Assuming you have the coop upgrade - yes, just throw your egg in there like you would into a mayo machine. It takes several days to hatch, but the game will notify you when it happens.

probably gonna do that too, get rid of my 2 other chickens and replaced them with void chickens, im keeping the ducks and rabbits though
