Cooking recipes

Hello!

Alright, I have checked the Wiki numerous times but have still not found my answer: How do you get the Spicy Eel recipe (and many others) that are not given through the cooking T.V. show or as rewards for various tasks?

Is it a reward for something? Have I grossly misunderstood something? The Wiki as I have been reading it gives no in-game source for this recipe.

I don't know about that one in specific, but you get many recipes from the villagers you become friends with. They send them to you in the mail every once in a while.

I have all recipes minus one, and the only cooking recipe I've purchased was the tortilla recipe from Gus. All the other recipes came from the TV and reaching a high enough friendship with villagers.

Okay. I was sort of afraid of that, but it makes sense. Anyone know which particular NPC gives the Spicy Eel recipe?

@notonion: for full shipment, what's the last item to the right of Fiber, and the item under goat cheese and to the left of tulips? :o And is the item above goat milk, right of snow yam a Sweet Gem berry?

What about the other two items? I haven't seen the Ancient Fruit yet (currently growing), so that's my best guess at the item under the goat cheese. Then I have no idea what the last item is. I assumed it was some kind of log or a bar of metal but doesn't seem like it.

That's a battery pack. Your lightning rods will make them for you after storms.

Oops, didn't see your other questions. To the right of the fiber is the battery and left of the tulip is, as you guessed, the ancient fruit.

Let me go facepalm myself for a little bit. I could've sworn I turned in a battery pack when I turned in all the minerals. Cheers :D

Last question: The wiki has all recipes up til the Crab Cakes, but the game has two more recipes after that... what's are the last two recipes?

That's what I believe those are too, but they can't be unlocked even when you craft them. I've reported that in the bug forum already.
