Roses & rose honey?

ok I heard rumors that you can get rose hnoey i know from a friend you can make flavored honey by plantime flowers behind beehives and i've seen some streamers talking about roses in the game so I'm wondering how you get roses or even if they're in the game cause i got a friend who upto year 10 and not found roses yet.

You can buy the seeds from Pierre's Shop. I think they are called "Fairy Seeds".

It is true. Fairy rose (the fairy seeds) if planted within 4 squares of the beehive will give you the Fairy honey for 700g a pop give it a try!

Yeah and the income from a modest honey farm is pretty staggering.
I have a farm set up like so
X : Beehive
O : Empty Space
U : Flower

XXOXX
XOOOX
XXUXX
XOOOX
XXXXX

Basically a 5x5 with a total of 17 hives. Using two of this shape side by side.
In summer it netted over 10 K per harvest IIRC. I think production happens every 3 days.

The reason I leave space arounf the flower and not make a 3x3 square with the flower in the center is because I don't want to accidentally harvest the flower.

I found out you can get a good profit going from the green house 24 hives and two rows of 12 fairy roses and one row of 12 sprinklers like so x sprinklers o hives h flowers

I keep reading that beehives dont work in the greenhouse.

They have never worked for me. Has anyone else gotten them to work? There may be a bug somewhere that allows/disallows some players to use them there.

Edit: The official Wiki says they should not work in the greenhouse.

They don't work in the green house any more it was one of the bug fixes in the last patch
