I've been trying to get a Rabbit's Foot forever. It's the last thing I need for Community Center...

I've got 4 happy rabbits and they just won't give it up! I'm thinking about selling all my ducks and chickens and going all rabbits until I get it. Starting to consider using cheat engine to just drop one in my inventory if that is even possible. I don't have much experience with CE... IS it even possible? I'm sick of checking the coop daily, the Cart on Friday and Sunday and checking the sewer daily (not even sure if either of these guys carry it) only to come away with nothing for almost an entire game year.

I've read that an enemy in the desert mine can drop them more reliably than rabbits, if that helps?

Yeah, the green flying monsters in the desert mine dropped one for me, but I have to say it's pretty rare too. I go to the mines pretty regularly and I've only managed to get one, while my rabbits at farm dropped two.

I'm feeling this pain too. Early in Year 1, the cart was selling a Rabbit Foot and I stupidly passed it up-- not knowing how difficult it would be to aquire one. Closing on Year 2 now and it's the last item I need.

I have two rabbits in my coop... and after about a YEAR, I got one foot. I would suggest the desert mine, or the black market dealer. (heh... and imagine trying to get 15 for the achieve!)

Good news: you don't need 15 rabbit feet for the "sell 15 crops" achievement.

Is there a list somewhere for items that are excluded? I've just been going by the 1st page of the Collection menu item.

Not that I know of. I was going by that tab too, but when I got the achievement, there were a few other things I haven't shipped 15 units yet so it looks like they don't count towards the achievement either. It includes fruit from fruit trees (apples, apricots, etc), foraged crops (maybe some are needed but for the rarer foraged crops like leek and spiced berries I haven't reached 15), and rare/ancient seeds.

went to the desert mine and didn't get one. went back the next day after going to the mine and got one naturally! just like when I started complaining about a certain fish never showing up and then getting it right after. Complaininng on this forum is lucky for me.

I ended up buying one from the ♥♥♥♥♥ lady. She turns up near the Wizard Tower every Sunday. I'm a good way into year 3 and I've never had one of my rabbits drop a foot.

She's also there on Fridays -- I've made a habit of stopping by there on the way to/from the beach every Friday and Sunday to see if there's anything I need for a quest.

I got mine in late fall of year two. Had two rabbits - one at 3 hearts, one at 2.5 hearts. Glad I only needed one because I haven't seen any more since - and that includes checking the caravan lady.

I really hope them being this rare isn't intended because it's a little on the ridiculous side.

Yup I bought mine from there too. In fact I bought most of the Livestock items needed for the community center bundles because I didn't build anything until about halfway through my 2nd year.

I was checking the ♥♥♥♥♥ regularly, but the 4 rabbits I had dropped 2 feet one day. One was at 4 hearts, the other 3 were fairly new but no longer babies. Maybe at 1 heart or a half a heart.
