How to turn iron ore into iron bar?

Anyone knows how to do this?

Via the furnace. You need 5 ore and one coal. Impressive to get far enough to get iron without getting that tutorial though.

You can get far enough to get iron ore but don't know how to make a furnace or metal bars? o.0

You get the crafting recipe for the furnace (and a quest to craft a copper bar) on the day after you visit the mines for the first time. Think you get a free one from one of the community center bundles too.

Eh? shouldn't that already be in your crafting recipe? Clint visits you and gives you a furnace blueprint if you gather some copper from the mines. But given you are at iron... I reckon it's been a veeeeery long time since Clint visited you and you forgot all about it, eh? hehe~

In short, check your crafting receips, the furnace really should be there.

The furnace can be crafted in the crafting menu. You need level 1 in mining to get the recipe.

Iron ore can drop in fishing chests too, so it's perfectly viable.

Lol i bought that stuff at the blacksmith shop.
I was just wondering how to make this as i got a craft receipt for sprinklers so i assumed that all the neccesairy requirements also would be unlocked already such as a furnace, i'll be heading to the mines in that case.

Should be open by now I reckon, it's in the northeast, east of linus' tent and robins' house.

You can buy iron ore at the blacksmith without ever mining or going into the mine. This is likely how he got into this situation.
