Where should I fish for Shad?

I know that it should be raining and it's Fall right now, but does anyone know the best location to fish one?

Isn't that a river fish? I think I caught them on the bridge right above the beach.

I actually just found one! At the river over the place the mouse sells hats. I found a Catfish there too, for future reference, in case people are looking for places to find those two!

Catfish and Shad can be caught in ether Spring, Summer or fall in rivers. Also it has to be raining.
