Spouse changing wallpaper

Had my spouse for 7 days now and he has already changed the wallpaper. It wouldn't be an issue if Wallpaper and Flooring wasn't consumable, and if Piere's selection wasn't entirely random. Getting the wallpaper as a gift would have been a much better alternative.

Is this something he's going to be doing a lot, because it kind of ruins the idea of customizing the house.

Also, my kitchen flooring keeps changing from wood to checker tile and back, and will randomly remove any flooring option I put on it.

I haven't seen Abigail do it yet for me, but it wouldn't surprise me if she ends up trying to do that.

Oh wow I thought this was a glitch since I bought the aquarium wallpaper for the kids room. I only bought one copy as I was expecting to only apply it to one room. Now have to wait for Pierre to restock...

I wish Penny would redecorate a little. I'm having a very hard time doing it myself. Even if she chooses something completely at random, it can't be worse than what my house looks like right now: A jumble of ugly colors that have nothing to do with one another, nor with the rooms I've put them in. Whatever she picks, I'm staying with that. Wish she could put down some furniture, too!
