Mining silver and gold?
Am I correct to assume that I can mine both silver and gold deeper in the mines? Just wondering because I want to add sprinklers to my farm and need silver and gold to craft. I haven't really explored much of the cave, so far I'm on level 35, I'm on my first year and figured I'd try and profit the most out of farming crops and then focusing on the mines during winter.

There's no silver. You might be mistaking iron for silver? The 2nd tier sprinkler requires iron and gold (and refined quartz).

I only got to level 10 of the mines by the end of fall 1. I concentrated on the mine in winter and got to level 100 and gathered enough gold and iron to make 16 sprinklers and to upgrade most of my tools to iron and one to gold by spring.

You are right, I meant to say iron lol, thanks! Setting up sprinklers really wasn't on my todo list until I expanded my farm to the point that it now takes all morning to water the crops.

I would suggest you work on the mines before your first winter as if you focus on it a bit you can get to gold by mid summer easily and quality sprinklers makes your life so much easier.

At the very least farm iron for a bit and get 6-8 normal sprinklers but no more as it will be enough until you the to gold.

You could always buy the ore from clint if you are making enough money but the prices needs a lot of work still as they are unbalanced of buying vs reselling.
