When will husband/wife ask about kids?

So I'm married to Harvey (got married on spring 15 year 2), I have the fully upgraded house, however he hasn't asked about kids yet and it's fall. Is there anything else I have to do? He has the 12 hearts, I give him his favorite item every once and awhile, and I talk to him everyday hoping he'll ask. Hellp

They'll randomly ask when they are happy and when you go to sleep.

Im married to penny and I dont give her gifts every day but instead I talk to her every day and I kiss her lke about ten times a day :3

They will ask you when you go to bed. Once you climb in and the screen goes black to save the game it will say, *your name*, would you like a baby? and your optinions are yes or no. My best advice is kiss your wife or husband alot, like 20 times a day and im not joking.

So guess what, I just stood there and made out with him for like 30 in game minutes and then that night the option for the baby poped up!! YAY and thanks for your help!!
