Fishing is horrible with a controller

I think it's easier with controller than with a mouse. I'm using a steam controller.

I found it easier with the controller actually. Fishing is horrible in the beginning no matter what. I reccomend heading to the lake by the mine and fishing there. Carp are easy.

I'm sorry to kinda barge in on your thread, but by the fishing minigame people call too hard, do they mean the one where you have to keep the green bar above the bouncing fish?

It's actually true. Sometimes the fish is a douche and bounces around so much it's almost impossible to keep it steady long enough. I wouldn't say it needed to be removed though. From the around 15 fish i tried to catch today i failed only 4 and that was with fishing level 1 only.

Oh and Jozix, you actually have to move the bar with the A button(XB1) or X button(PS4) so it's not the same one that you use to initiate the minigame.

That's intended so you can't catch certain fish (without major luck) until you level fishing skill

I have a feeling that pike is what is giving ppl trouble at fishing lvl 1 lol..no other explanation is possible tbh.

Only ever played the game with a controller and can say personaly it's easy, tried it a bit with the mouse and that feels even easier again.
