Crystal Fruit and Snow Yam
Does anyone know if these spawn naturally around town? Because I've yet to find one, and I need them to fix the bridge.

Crystal Fruit does. I haven't found any Snow Yams yet.

Snow Yam just use hoe everywhere that there is snow. Also can find them from killing the small tentacle monsters under the ground with your hoes.

never seen Snow Yams :(

They do. Crystal Fruit is very obvious when you see it. Snow Yam will be buried. You dig it out on the worm thingies with your hoe. It's a great idea to get a Snow Yam, a Cristal Fruit, the snow flower (forgot the name) and the snow root (might not be this name too, the orange one you find in winter) and check your crafting window. You can make winter seeds and plant them. Cristal Fruit and Snow Yam are worth a ton of money, so harvesting them earned me a lot more than anything else I did last winter.

Use your hoe on earthworms during winter, this will give you a lot of wild plants.

They are the small tentacles sticking out of the ground waiting for victims.

found both on the first day of winter. I Crystal Fruit somewhere on the ground... snow yams was on the beach... i can't remember... could also be worms from the ground or crabtrap...

I'm just wondering what I'm doing with the wild winter seeds you got from this bundle?

I thought that, I can't farm in winter... I'm confused... can't find any information on reddit or wiki.

If you have an upgraded hoe, use it fully charged on every patch of dirt you see. Beach gave me a TON of snow yams and the other orange tuber thing.

worms are... worm heads sticking out of the ground. They move a little but they spawn in all kinds of places.

Winter seeds are called winter seeds because they can grow in winter obviously.

I can confirm. After I crafted my first winter seeds I gradually filled my fields with winter forageables. By the end of the season I was harvesting from the entire field, and making a very nice amount of money doing so.

Thank you for confirmation. I really thought you can't farm in winter. Heard and read so many times...

They're all around on the ground, they are the best way of getting artifacts, library books and wild plants, as well as clay, just keep an eye open for one and use the hoe in it, they appear on all seasons and anywhere.

The sand/earth in the quarry also gives a ton of snow yams and the roots. Farming the beach and the quarry for them gives a good amounth of gold in the first year of winter when you most likely haven't unlocked the greenhouse yet.
