Great tip on the starfruits. I got some seeds for Kent's quest but I didn't go so far as to fill my greenhouse with them. That should be a bit less work than the berry fest that I'm currently ignoring since they take half my energy bar to deal with everyday... I've been waiting forever for a storm in order to get battery packs and make some good sprinklers, but I might use the quality ones with the starfruit for now.
This will take you awhile to produce and again if you have the greenhouse this is needed for the fruit to use in other seasons.
There has to be some kind of end game products that takes awhile to get to and takes time to make money of but this is normal in games.
And there are plenty of reasons to go for the other stuff as it's not always about the most money per item.
Also ancient seeds are very special and them being worth a lot is fine.
Not saying anything is wrong with all this, but it basically makes every other money making possibilty worthless. Like it's not even worth tending to the animals, or going fishing once you have access to the starfruits.
Other than the community center that is.
Pretty sarcastic, there is no "obviously" about it, it kind of blows you entire point out of the water in a way. You mention unlocking the desert then assert that all you need to do after that is farm Starfruit, you never even hint that you mean at the end-game after everything else is done.
So, you can ditch the sarcasm and face up to the fact that your original point was extremely lacking. If all you care about is making $$$ then yes, your method is great... but there is a lot more to the game than that.
Play how you want, that isn't my issue, I take issue with sarcastic defense of a pretty lacking point.
I love the way a mixed farm looks. I have fun growing different crops. I like raising animals.
For just money, sure - but it's gonna take you a while to get those things* to grow! It makes sense that at some point you have access to a way that can get you a ton of money easily.
*Okay I have like three or four ancient fruit seed packets before winter y1 because I fish way too much but that's not the point.
