Food Recipes from Relationships?

Does one have to have a level 10 friendship with ALL the characters in the game in order to gain all the food recipes? ... or does having friendhsip with several mean that they will eventually send you all the recipes?

(This is, of course, after having bought all the ones that are sold in town).

I'm interested in knowing this too. It takes a lot of time to get up to 10 hearts on a character, and I've only been working on maybe half of all the characters for the friend-achievements. Do each character have a unique recipe they send you after X amount of hearts or can you just befriend 10 people and eventually after a while get all the recipes?

EDIT: So I checked out most of the villagers wiki pages and as far as I can see you only need to get a few of them up to level 3 of hearts for them to send you recipes and they have specific recipes they'll send you.
