Hard to find people

Where do people usually hang out? Its so hard to find certain people. Like right now, I cant find Leah for the life of me.

The saloon bar obviously (Don't know where else people would go in a small town.). I find Leah there in the evenings a lot.

Go to the wiki. If you can read a little bit of code, go see the discussion pages of the character you are looking for. I find it quite straightforward.

I have the same issue. I run out of time on so many quests because I can't find them for the life of me. They really need to add markers to the big map for people's general locations.

She's usually by water. Sometimes she's near her house, near the lake close to the wizard tower, at beach in the summer, near pam's trailer, or in the saloon in the evenings.

I agree that there should be map markers. Though I don't have that problem anymore; after 50 hours I more or less know the usual haunts of most of the villagers. If I don't, then I think about their personality and make a couple guesses.

Sometimes they seem to break routine. I just spent half the day looking for Lewis and he wasn't in any of his usual places. Ended up having to rush home to bed without ever finding him.

I'd like either map markers or for us to be able to send mail to give gifts and turn in quests. Or do it through the social menu.

My favorite time to find people is in the evenings, because they are usually inside their houses and you can enter them. Also rainy days are great because most people stay indoors. The best way to find people is to carry the gifts with you and when you go to town to do your stuff you can eventually find them randomly.

Actually having a problem right now where Clint isn't at the counter.. and he should be at 12... 1....2.. PM on a Tuesday.. and he's got my new pick. Bonus points that I just got a quest to mine copper for him on the way to his shop. :o

Sat night is awesome because most people are at the bar.

There's some times where I can't find people either. Is there a different routine for birthdays?
