Trying to unlock the 10th (I think) heart event for him where you meet him at the dock, but I havent had any luck? its a sunny day, and I have all 10 hearts! Hope you guys can help!

I'm having the same issue. I've tried in three seasons now: fall, winter, and spring. I remember reading someone managed to trigger a different candidate's 10 heart event after getting the mermaid pendant, but you have to wait for a rainy or stormy day--which was impossible to get in the winter.

I'm finally in spring again so I'll see if getting the mermaid pendant causes the event to trigger.

I figured it out after a few moments! I thought my event didn't trigger because i got 10 hearts in the morning with Elliott, then left and got the event as i left his home, so i didn't realize it was the 10th heart event! I was finally able to marry him on spring 20th haha!
Maybe the same happened to you, where you didn't realize the event triggered? I feel like that would be a pretty common mistake!

yeah! i was confused with it because i got the letter the day AFTER it happened, but it turned out to be the event!
