What happens to crops when the seasons change?
I am still early in the game in spring and the vast majority of my plants are bean stalks that continously produce. Will all of these crops die out completely when winter rolls around or other season changes?

Most crops die at the seasons end. There are only a few that last more than one season. When you buy them at the store it tells you which season they are for and how long they will take to grow.

they die. Except multi season crops, which only die when they are finally out of season.

When the next season starts, crops will wilt. The only crop that won't do this is Corn since it can be grown during both Summer and Fall. You just get rid of the wilted crops with the Scythe :tabbycat:

Just to be precise: I left my crops in the field to see what would happen from Spring to fall. Every plant that isnt multi-season will be dead and brown on the first day of the new season. Cut them down with a scythe to plant your new crops
