How do I use spinner lure and lead bobber?

I bought them from Willy, but I can't figure out how to attach them to my rod. Do I just have to sacrifice two bag slots and hold them to use them?

Also, where can I sell my old fishing rods? I accidentally bought a second Fiberglass one.

Pick it up and right click it onto the rod. Same as bait.

Lures require the iridium rod. Bait requires fiberglass or iridium.

Oooh, I see. I was holding it and right clicking on my rod, but I have a Fiberglass rod, I didn't know it had to be the Iridium. Thank you, I'll save up and buy the Iridium rod.
