Weapon weight?
Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the weight stat on weapons does. I'm not sure if i missed something but I can't find any explanation in game.

I've been wondering the same thing.

My best guess is that it affects knockback, maybe?

Perhaps also affects exp received? like training with a heavier weapon builds strength?

Well, there apperently was going to be weight training (as in lifting dumbells and such) for strength and perhaps that was a part of that unfinished mechanic. *I have no proof of any of this, only what I've heard*

I think it has to do with your right click recharge speed.

im pretty sure it has to do with knockback capability of the weapon. a heavier sword with +weight has more pushback than a small dagger with -weight, afterall

I was wondering the same thing and here is what I found:
"The Weight of a weapon affects how far an enemy will be knocked back. The larger the bonus, the further you will push enemies when you hit them with your weapon."

This information, along with stats and weight of some of the different weapons can be found here:

Pretty sure it also affect your speed or something. Slower attack speed or slower movement, etc.
Knockback also makes sense but I never really thought about it. Why not named it Knockback?

I don't really like further knockback though. It makes them take longer to kill.

Is it energy taken from you with each swing since its heavier? Just a guessimate, i havent bought the sword yet

Weapons and the scythe don't use energy
