Anyone else really disliking Demetrius?

Guy randomly creeping out over "his special daughter having a great future ahead and nobody being supposed to get into the way", send his stepson to the basement with no window, both his wife and him apparently doting on the daughter whom has her own entrance to the house and such.

If the children weren't above 18 by now I'd likely call social services or such. Village needs a police officer so I can report the threats he made against me, unless I'm allowed to shank him in a future update.

Demetrius is the local drugdealer and we're both sharing the shrooms we're secretly growing in a cave. He's alright.

Pretty sure he makes drugs in that one room of his too. Then sends some to Harvey since he works as a doctor. Then Harvey can get away with working with unnamed drugs since he's a doctor.

Edit: Demetrius likes Purple Mushrooms as a gift.

LOL, I think with the first part, he's just being an overprotective dad. Yeah, he should loosen up a bit, especially since I'm just friends with her (I'm straight for crying out loud!), but it's not the end of the world.

As for Sebastian, I got the impression that would be his preference. He seems to not like the outdoors as much, and seems a bit awkward, kinda a stereotypical geek/emo combo, so the basement seemed like it would probably fit him. He'll move out of it soon enough anyhow, soon as I finish winning him over...

Storm, nah he's being really creepy, not just overprotective father. As for Sebastian some of his quotes consist of "Maybe if my room at least had a window it wouldn't be so depressing.". Seems more like his mother shagged up with a new guy, then basically only kept him around grudgingly as she started her new happy family with the creeper dad and the new favorite child. Which in turn lead to how he's now.

Each time I walk by Demetrius standing in front of the River I have to suppress the urge to stab him and push him in. Nobody would ever know and the Town would be that much better for it. Altough we'd likely soon end up in "Hot Fuzz" territory.

Thing is, similar to how Penny is the female woobie he appears to be a product of the treatment given to him by his family. His mother is never shown interacting with him hinting at neglecting him at best, the stepfather clearly only cares about the daughter and she's vastly better treated, own frigging door to tiny garden outside, while he gets a room with no window.

So he's likely the way he is because of his family. As a guy it still kinda feels the game is bullying me into marrying Penny tho.

Maybe last time she was there she stole his window to give to his fugly sister, would explain it. Heck given the guy she married I'd be disassociating myself from her also and that's from an outsiders perspective chasing people with fruits and other junk to gift to them all day!

I was kinda hoping the dev intentionally make this family state drama

It really add spices and life to the NPC

But somehow why did most people lost their family head?

Probably some kind of nation wide problem or war going on in the world that we don't know about.

Kinda explain sam dads, he did say his dad is at war with the Groto Empire

There only 1 properly functioning family in the game and that is Abigail family


Leah : run from the city like we do
Penny : no dad, lives in trailer
Haley : live with her sister, no parents?
Maru & Sebastian : internal problems
Sam : no dads
Elliot : bum who live in cottage alone
Alex : live with grandparents
Harvey : live alone in his clinic

No wonder they're all single, everyone is a mess, its like the are begging for us to marry them

I like Abby because she played videogames with me. She was crap at it though... Overall I'm favouring Penny at the moment. I'm curious what Haley is like when she's not being shallow as a carpet stain. Would like to know Leah too but I never bump into her on my rounds. Maru kind of annoys me.

Abby is goth. I thought I could be friends with Sebastian since her hermets himself in a basement on his computer, but no he's full emo.
