Example: 7 days to die has an option where you can choose how long a ingameday runs in realtime.
Game is obviously designed towards making people prioritize their days. if you want to mine/get down a lot of mine levels, you either don't try to break up every rock, you use a lot of bombs, or you bring several salads and start first thing in the morning and mine all day, or you leave most of your mining for the winter or whatever else.
I personally would like it if the day felt about 1/4 longer than it does now, but once I became familiar with the map layout and other stuff, it doesn't seem as bad. Still a rushed feeling, but manageable.
The game is designed intentionally to make players have to manage their time, you aren't supposed to be able to do everything in a single day particularly towards the beginning (though later on you can get things like fast travel through mine carts and warp totems which gives more flexibility.
As to stamina bring food with you or use the spa. If even with that you are running out of stamina then as has been mentioned use other tactics like not breaking every single rock and using tools like cherry bombs to expedite the process a little and beyond that you can always come back the next day. The game has no hard time limit so it's pressuring you.
If we had to much more time thered be no time managment element and thats always been a part of these games (some worse then others).. Not sure that needs removed..
Regardless I agree he should add an option for slower and faster time.. For people who want it.. Options are always nice.
Then 12 x 7 is 84 so seven days would equal 84 minutes.
84 x 4 is 336 minutes for a month.
This is all considering your character is awake for twelve hours per day in-game.
____
(Math for 7 seconds per 10 minutes below.)
7 seconds per 10 minutes makes each hour 42 seconds long. 12 hours in-game would be around 8 minutes and a half long.
Then 8 x 7 is 56 so seven days would equal 56 minutes.
56 x 4 is 224 minutes for a month.
224 minutes is around 5 hours and a half long. The ♥♥♥♥?! You all on some red bull or some ♥♥♥♥ when playing this game??
Time scale is perfectly balanced.
That's your opinion, and you're welcome to it, but I agree that there should at least be an option to adjust it.
It's not my opinion. It's from a game mechanic stand point.
