how to use warp totem?

I made warp totem:beach
and install some ground.
but it doesn't work.
how can use it?

Wish i could help you but I find the totems to generally be a waste of time since they're only 1 use items so i've never bothered to make one let alone use it.

It might be a bug, but you need 2 totems to actually warp. right click the placed totem with a second one to start the warp

Iamogamo is only partially right. You need at least two totems in inventory, then just right click like you would a food item to warp. Only one totem will be used up. Probably definitely a bug.

You have to be holding the warp totem. It's stupid I know.

It's not something you place down to use. It's a consumable and you don;t need to have 2 in your inventory. Imagine the totem is a juicy hot dog, hold it over your head, and then try to eat it. You'll be warped.
