Winter Seeds

I just got a pack of these from the Community Center, and like an idiot, I thought they were seeds that could actually be planted in winter. They, er don't seem to be growing. In case I see another pack, when are they supposed to be planted?

I haven't got around to trying the winter seeds, but you generally can't plant something unless it's the correct season.
I say just give it time

winter seeds are only growing in the winter ^^ takes some time and make sure they are watered

So what with this Seasons Seeds? If I get Summer Seeds, they only be growing in Summer, right?

Yea, the seeds grow the plants you forage during their respective seasons.

Like horse radishes from spring seeds

Yes, you can. You still have to water them as usual.

for the ones that have already planted them: have you goit the crafting recipe for them afterwards ? I have for the others, but here I didn't get one .. (feels weirdish)

Winter seeds are forage seeds. They take 6 (or 7) days to grow. Since nothing else grows in winter, you can opt to farm nothing but these. Just make sure you make enough seeds for next year.

The crystal berries are the most valuable berries in the game @ 150 apeice, base. They make pretty good jams (350g/4-days) and wines (450g/6-days), the winter roots are good for cooking, the yams can be sold off, and the flowers sold/gifted.

To add to this. Snow =/= rain. You still have to water them even in the snow.

Has any of you gotten a crafting receipe for winterseeds after planting them? (want ot make sure if this is a bug or I overlooked anything ...)

I got the crafting recipe from level up like the others.

You definitely can, I have a field of 60 winter seeds going right now
