anyone know a reliable way to get this?

Use 1 coal and 1 minerals, I cant remember the name, its the silver one you find all over the first 10 levels of the dungeon.

I forgot to mention to put them into the furnace.

Only way I know of is to craft a recycler, then throw in broken CDs. You can find broken CDs from fishing.

According to the wiki, you can recycle broken glasses and find it in geodes too:

Quartz are easy to find in the mines higher floors. If you are rich enough and can throw 25k gold into the community center safe bundle, you can get a Crystalarium which duplicates a quarts (or any other crystal) every few in game hours. Then smelt them in furnace.

i mean it pretty obivious it in the name, refined quartz, refined it implies you need to purify it. how do you purify minerals? either an acid bath in IRL but the doesnt have that so. you go to the next best thing. smelting it

I am not assuming anything. This is just a basic puzzle solve process people do everyday. if people jujst stop and think for a moment then they would see how the problem is solve you dont need to be a genius to figure stuff out. To be fair i never made any assumptions, i was trying to make him see that you dont need to know things to figure things out. All you need to just do what a three year ols does, associate words with things and do some basic trail and error. also this is fun he is missing the point completely
