Fiber!
We all need it! No, really, but, before i was able to afford chickens and a silo and all that jazz, I cut many many weeds, etc. and now have a sizeable stack of fiber. The only thing I see that I can do with it is keep some to make a loom. Is there no way to take the fiber I've already cut previously and turn it into hay or anything?

Fiber will come in handy for many crafting recipes. Just hang on to it until you need it by storing it in a chest for later. If you need hay, you can buy grass starter at the general store in town. Cutting the grass down w/ a scythe will put hay directly into your silo. Or, if you build a fence around the front of the chicken coop and plant the grass starter inside, the chickens will feed themselves from the grass throughout the day, provided the little door to the side of the door you walk through is open. I've noticed if you make the fenced area too small or let the chickens go before there's a lot of grass grown, then they will eat more than can grow, and they will eventually eat most of it, requiring you to plant more.
