Are monsters dropping cave ladders a glitch?
It's completely nonsensicle. I think it would be better off if that didn't happen and ladders were only found under rocks.

Think its done as a form of balance... some of the floors have so many rocks and monsters on, you could waste all your energy just searching for the ladder.
Think this is fine the way it is. Its not unfamiliar to games either to be honest. "Kill all monsters to proceed to next level".

So what if it's non-sensical. So are faries flying in and boosting your crops. So is growing a cauliflower bigger twice the size of you. So is a mouse who runs a hat shop. So is the fact that you're fixing up a community center by bringing items to a bunch of spirits shaped like apples. So are half the enemy types in the mines to begin with.

If you took out everything in the game that's is non-sensical or unrealistic there wouldn't be a game left.

People sure are trying really hard to find something to complain about. What's next, there's too much snow during the winter?

The only issue I have with it is that sometimes the ladders will spawn on me and get me stuck, forcing me to go down to the next floor even if there's stuff I still wanted to gather. Other than that I think it's a great way to progress through the mine without expending too much energy. It gives you the choice to go the combat route or the mining route depending on your health/energy at the time.

To answer the question properly, No, it isn't a glitch. I don't think it's very nonsensicle either, As they're effectively dropping an item you yourself can craft for 99 stone, and most often, they drop stairs on floors where there is an absolute crapton of stone, and almost never on the floors with only a few dozen rocks.

So if I understand right, this game has monsters that drop stuff upon death?

Oh the horror?

CA corrected (Or tried to) the issue with stairs spawning on top of you. Shouldnt be a problem anymore.

You all chillax, dude just brought a suggestion up.Lets not all jump the fanboy bandwagon.

buuut yeah i disagree keep the monsters dropping ladders as it is, it is already sorta difficult to go down in the mines, don`t make it harder

I wouldn't even call it a suggestion they asked if its a bug, Its not the fact that every time I go down it its random generated instead of the same makes any nonesence claims well, kinda silly. I mean its cool that every time I go down the next floor could be difrent today then yesterday is ok, but finding a ladder after I kill a slime, something I have never seen or heard of in real life that is too far?

So... when did you last kill a slime in real life?

His post is a complete mess to read, but I think he's actually ridiculing OP for complaining about unrealistic loot drops in a randomly generated dungeon with slime enemies.
