How to start community center quests?

I have the center unlocked, but not quite sure how to do anything inside, please assist.

Look for the glowing book on the floor in the left cell when you enter the CC.
After that the wizard wil send you a letter.

Yeah, I thought that was just a light, so I didn't bother touching it either XD

You must try to open it, it will be some strange language which the wizard will help you to translate

thanks. didn't see that. i'm pretty far into the game at this point, haven't done any community center though lol

rofl, well you will take some time to unlcok things then .-.
I recomend you try to unlock things as fast as possible when you get the bundles.
After the wizard send you a letter the following day and you make his quest you will be able to see the little book in the top right of your inventory when you press E. There you can see what you need to give to the community center.
These are called bundles and each book (the first one being that lying in the left cell) has his bundles with individual rewards and a great reward per each bundle collection. The book in your inventory is only for checking, the delivery must still be made at each of the books in the CC.

No, after you unlocked the community center and check the inside ...there will be a glowing book on the floor. try to get it, it will have some unknown language written. In the following day the wizard will send you a letter telling you that he can help you, then you go meet him...for the first time.
