How can I move (or remove/destroy) a scarecrow?

I tried using the tools to remove it but it wont get destroyed. I tried pressing him and it just says how many scarecrows he's scared off.

Anyone try this?

normal scarecrows you can use hoe, axe or pickax.
rarecrows only destroys with axe if I'm right

Pickaxe or axe it. If the (pick)axe doesn't work, report it as a bug so it'll get fixed. Because the (pick)axe SHOULD work.

I use the hoe on my scarecrow and it moves him, from there it can be placed in your bp and deleted

The hoe worked. Thx. I guess my aim was really bad (was tring to be careful because my crops were nearby, had to reload once).
