Fast weapon with low damage but high attack rate - goes for crit rate
Slow weapon with very high damage but very low attack rate - % damage
I'm using a Sword and already selected Fighter for 10% damage and health point
and just realized that 50% crit rate is better .. for me ..
1.5x 2.0x 2.5x? or something?
the sword that I'm using is "Obsidian Edge" (30-45dmg)
and it deals a critical hits damage for about 120-140dmg
that's why..
I dont see any different between %dmg and %cri
because I cant reset or change my skill to the another one, anymore.
For instance:
-10% damage boost
You attack with a slow weapon 2 times and do 10 points of dmg each.
With the 10% dmg boost, you would do 11 dmg each hit.
= 22 dmg
-50% crit (if it x2 your dmg)
You attack with a slow weapon 2 times and do 10 points of dmg each.
With the 50% crit, you would in theory at least crit 1 of the 2 times, doing 20 points of dmg.
= 30 dmg
Want to restart the game!! OMGGGGGGGGG
I went to fighter for same as your reason.
but just see that only 1 crit hit can kill the monster cuz of thier dmg is about 3x
(40for normal hits and 120for crit hits for me )
Except it isn't clear that is how it works. For example, if your base crit rate is 10% chance then a 50% increase to that means it is now a 15% crit chance. All depends if it is done as a straight add or just a multiplyer to a base we don't know.
The problem is, that you don't know your base. But if it increases your base crit chance to 25%, and the modifier is x3 (as mentioned above) and not x2, it would still be the better trait.
