Fence Repair?

Fence decay is pretty fast.
I don't mind, not complaining. How can I repair them when they start looking like my son?

If they are wood hit them with your axe then put down a new piece of fence it the empty spot.

After hearing bad experiences of wooden and stone fences, I decided to go with iron fences when I unlocked them. They've been going strong for the entire autumn/winter season now, so I'd call that worth it.

hard wood fences + spouse to repair them...
All others are not worth it except for their looks(and you shouldn't complain about durability in that case!). Use trees/lightning rods if you want permanent fences.
Or use mods to cheat their longevity.

You can actually place new fencing right over the top of broken down fencing and save yourself the energy of wielding the pickaxe first.

I use hardwood for my animal pen and just built stone for the crops to keep the weeds and stuff out. Stone is more plentiful and easy to get, if they decay faster its not big deal to repair them.
