About storms!!! What am I supposed to do?

The TV said there's gonna be a storm? Should I be worried about my crops? Is there anything I can do to protect them?

I just passed by a Storm, TV said it would have thunders and everything, but it turned out to be just a rain. So if there are really storms in the game, the chance of having them isn't 100% based on weather forecast.

That was the storm they are only use for collecting Lightning for stuff late game :D

Well, you CAN build a lightning rod, but I don't think that's so much a defensive structure as a way to farm battery packs. I did notice one of my corn tiles was missing after a storm, however, so maybe it's also defensive after all.

I still don't have the lightning rod blueprint? When am I supposed to get it?

I think it's granted to you after a certain number of Farming levels. 4 or 6, I don't remember.

What I'd like to know is if lightning actually destroys your crops. So are lightning rods like scarecrows in the sense that you need to strategically deploy them around the farm, or are they just passive battery pack collectors.

Well, I do know that every once in a while that I sit through a storm in the game, I can hear lightning crashing into crap and destroying trees, etc.

Lightning rod doesn't negate it all, but it does keep it away from the crops.

Well, I just got past a storm with thunders and all, and it still didn't hit anything on my farm as far as I'm concerned. I guess that if it can hit your crops, theres a determined chance it will happen.

You can buy the lantern recipe from the girl that upgrades your house. She sells the blueprint at random, though, so you may need to check everyday until its available.
