Whats with everyone and chilies?i guess it was the fastest crop back in summer.
So i didnt bring anything back then (i brought honeys but that didnt work,also some cookies that your mom gave for the *potluck*) so i accidently put a sap in.i quited and brang a 1 month old cauliflower instead

I didn't put anything because I was a greedy hoarder, and I got a "something is missing, this soup tastes bland". lol

I put in a gold star blueberry, I had brought complete dishes with me for the potluck and not ingredients. :( I for sure thought the blueberry would make the soup taste terrible, but apparently it was the most delicious soup the Governor had ever had! You would think the pepper would be better in soup than the blueberry. Lol

Threw in a normal poppy, cause poppy is used in cooking and stuff all the time so I thought, why not?

So after reading all these comments, I decided to try and add a lobster to pot because I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love lobsters in anything. Unfortunately it didn't alllow me to add it to the pot because apparently lobsters aren't food right?

So I only had one other food in my inventory, which was plain ol normal strawberries. I was like, what the heck and I threw it into the pot.

Moment of truth came, the governer tasted the soup. At first he was all "..." and I was like ♥♥♥♥. But then he was like mmm this is very tasty and I was like "???".

What did I learn from all of this? I learned that lobsters are not food and that freaking strawberries make very tasty soup. I might just try to add some into my seafood soup one day.

I didn't quite understand what it meant, i thought you were suppose to bring a full dish, which, i didn't have a kitchen yet so I was like, well now what. I ended up buying some fish dish from gus and brought that, which the pot wouldn't accept, so it was quite disappointing. I save scummed and ran around an foraged a silver star spicy berries and tossed that it. Came out 'very pleasant, stardew valley doesn't disappoint.' So, it turned out alright.

yeah,they REALLY need to clarify the whole potluck thing,instead of bring a dish,say we have a tradition of making a giant soup and everyone gets to put an ingredient of their choice
