Flower Dance Partner Hearts Requirements?

Do you need more than 2 hearts with someone to get them to dance with you? I've picked Leah and I have 2 hearts with her, and I've given her stuff she likes/loves twice every week. Mostly Daffodils and Salmonberries.

I'm in winter now with like 2 (10) heart women but back in summer i had penny at 2 hearts(which was my highest at the time) and her and everyone else turned me down :(.

Well, it seems almost impossible to get 3 hearts with someone before the Flower Dance first time around.... didn't work out :/ Been doing my best to gift Leah crap every week too.

IIRC you need 4 hearts to get someone to dance with you.

You can freely dig through someone's dresser with only 2 hearts but they have to like you twice as much in order to just throw a little dance with you? Damn.

So it's pretty much unlikely you'll get someone to 4 hearts within the first few weeks... unless you somehow manage to magically get a bunch of what they love as gifts. Leah loves things that I can't get a hold of this early on. Like salad and stirfry. Gotta have a kitchen for those and it's difficult to get 10000 gold early on unless you don't bother upgrading tools and fish pole.

You can buy salad out of the saloon for only 220g. But still don't think, that you're able to dance with her at the first event.

I had Haley at either 4 or 5 hearts by the dance. I have 6 hearts with her right now in summer. I didn't feel that it was that hard to get her hearts to go up. I just make sure I talk to her every day and give her gifts whenever I can. Honestly I thought it was too easy to go up, but now i'm seeing that haley is just easy to like you, considering so far she seems to really like flowers.

As far as I know, everyone of the girls likes flowers. Flowers are one of the general like items.

Haley is one of the easiest because her birthday is in Spring. Combine that with her love of flowers, daffodils included and you can manage a fair amount of hearts in a month. If you get a quest from her in that time things are even easier.

I have just got Leah up to 5 hearts before first flowerdance (tomorrow). Basically one just has to speak with her everyday and give her 2 Gifts every week except one gift (I forgot to give her one) but still it worked out.

So it is possible and I my current balance is 7427. Two copper-upgrades. No building upgrades or new Farm Buildings. I gave her Salade from the Saloon. The only thing really needed is to plan ahad in pause menu (E) to save up time and trust me its going to be a lot of time ;)
